Swap between Ctokens

Swap between different Ctokens

You also have the option to swap your ctokens prematurely for other ctokens, potentially gaining in the process. Here's how it works:

if the initial fee you paid for your asset is higher than the fee associated with swapping your covered asset for a new one, you stand to gain $AUSD for each swap between different assets.

Example :

For instance, if you initially paid a 7% fee for a cETH swap and then opt to swap for cBTC, which carries a 5% fee, you could potentially gain 2% (minus platform fees) on the swap.

Sell similar Ctokens coverages

Moreover, if you decide to sell your coverage to another individual, provided the assets are similar, you could stand to gain from the swap if the fee for your cETH is lower than the minting fee set by the market.

Example

Let's say you swapped ETH for cETH at a 5% fee. If the market fee for cETH has now increased to 7%, you can sell your cETH for ETH at the market fee or lower (7%) and potentially gain an additional 7% fee (minus platform fees).
