Transfer Ctokens to other wallets

Do not send ctokens to other adresses without using our interface !

Ctokens are intricately linked to smart contracts, each minting of a ctoken is recorded and associated with the user's wallet. Due to this association, regular methods of transferring tokens to other Metamask addresses aren't applicable. If you attempt to send your ctokens to another Metamask address conventionally, the coverage information linked to it will vanish, and you won't receive any $AUSD.

How to transfer the correct manner

To transfer your ctokens to different wallets, you must utilize our platform's interface. By clicking on the "transfer" button and specifying the destination address, the smart contract will securely transfer both the ctokens and their associated coverage information to your new wallet.

Recoverage using the same wallet

Should you choose to cover again using the same wallet, your previous coverage will be seamlessly updated to reflect the new coverage terms.

Transfer Ctokens to another wallet that already has Ctokens = ERROR 404

It's important to note that ctokens, such as CETH, cannot be transferred to a wallet that already contains the same type of ctokens (e.g., CETH).
