# $AUSD

$AUSD, the stablecoin at the core of our $AGIO ecosystem, operates with clear advantages:

1. **Stability**: Tied to the value of 1 USD, $AUSD maintains a pegged value of 1:1 with the dollar, ensuring predictability and reliability.
2. **Scalability**: With an automatic scaling mechanism, $AUSD adjusts seamlessly as users deposit or trade other stablecoins or cryptocurrencies for $AUSD. The smart contract manages assets like $USDC and $DAI, maintaining a treasury that facilitates 1:1 exchanges when users wish to swap $AUSD for other assets.
3. **Ecosystem Benefits**: $AUSD offers various benefits within our ecosystem, including opportunities for holders and stakers to gain leveraged yield from the treasuries and assets backing $AUSD.

To acquire $AGIO, users must first obtain $AUSD, as our liquidity pool is paired with $AUSD and $AGIO.
